Good Morning. I missed you, I missed you so much, it’s been too long since we last met, but hopefully we’ll be meeting more the coming days...

Before I tell you one of my memories, I’d like to tell you Happy Mother’s day, March is all about Mother’s day these day, all TV commercials and all shops are focusing on what gift to buy to our moms…

I’d like to tell you about a nice memory that happened in mother’s day when my kids where young…

They used to give me a card that they made at school and a small gift that they buy me from their money, and in five minutes’ time they’d give me the gift along with a kiss and go back to playing and tearing the place apart.

And of course after screaming my lungs out at mother’s day, I gathered them and told them that all I want for mother’s day is that they let me rest and nothing more…

They were embarrassed and they decided to make it up to me the next day.

They’d let me rest and they’d do everything instead of me… I felt happy and went to sleep.

And the next day came and of course I regretted it…

My kids asked me to stay in my room until they tell me to come out, and I did and then I came out when they told me, only to find everything on the fridge laying on the table! Of course that was Breakfast

I was shocked but I held myself together and told them good job and kissed them, then they got me back in my room to rest while they finish the house work until lunch time…

I stayed in my room but all I could think about was the disasters that were happening outside.

And indeed the final outcome was a hurricane in the house including the kitchen, bathroom, etc., etc….

I had a hard time getting the house back the way it was, but I was happy that they tried to let me rest in that horrible way…

Ever since that day, every Mother’s day after they’re all grown up and married, we remember that day and laugh at all the things they did when they were young on Mother’s day, and of course they still get me Mother’s day gifts.

But they started teaching their kids, my grandchildren that the gift is not only with money, but by caring about their mom and making her rest … Don’t you agree?
