The age-old question: What do I wear?
Being a working woman in different businesses always requires dressing in a certain dress code. This sounds really puzzling, and if you are somehow indecisive like me, you can spend about an hour shattered between what goes better with a denim jacket: black or white?
Each office indicates its dress regulations.
If you work in a casual office:
Feel free to wear denim, fitted blouses, t-shirts, and sweaters with conservative patterns. Avoid glossy colors, low cut, or tight tops. The same goes for pants: jeans are allowed, but never wear flare jeans or cutoffs. Skirts must remain at knee length. Sneakers are fine. Open-toed shoes and sandals are permitted, although I suggest you don't go that wild. Wear accessories freely, but remember simplicity always wins.
If you work in a professional office:
Working in a professional office leaves you with limited options. You have to lean on neutral colors like black, white, gray, and brown. You can choose between well-cut pantsuit and skirt suits or shirts, jackets and formal pants. Closed-toe heels are a perfect choice, also stick to conservative and nude colors. As for the accessories, it is more professional to wear high-end watches or noticeable non-distracting accessories.
Here are some outfit ideas that will come in handy in the busy mornings;
- Wide-leg jeans, a striped top, a bright-colored cardigan with boots or sneakers are a perfect combination.
- Try wearing a basic top and a floral skirt. This always helps you look smart.
- A printed blouse with a fitted pair of jeans and heels is a modest yet elegant outfit.
- A printed dress is a valid option with nude heels along.
