The Influence Of Friends In Our Life
For a long period of time, my life was a mess, I had a lot of big successive problems, it was too big for me! And that affected me in a negative way. I felt I was lost and my ability to focus on anything was reduced and I couldn’t remember a lot of things in my life, even the recent moments and unforgettable events. That was because of the stress. Alhamdulillah, it passed, and I am okay now. I started to heal and recover, but this period in my life made me know the importance of the presence of my friends in my life because without them I wouldn’t have been okay now.
We face many problems and conflicts in our lives, even the internal struggles within ourselves. Those struggles may make you forget who you are, and go into a deep period of depression. But with a person who knows you better and stands by your side only because he\she is a “FRIEND,” that makes you feel you’re not alone, and this improves your mood greatly and helps you overcome your problems.
Friendship is the purest human relationship
I am fully convinced that friendship is the purest relationship we go through in our lives if it is true friendship. Because surely we know a lot of fake friends, but true friendship is the best relationship because your friend is not a family you share blood bonds with, or a husband that you both need something from each other. Friendship is something you go through without waiting for anything in return, but it eventually becomes the reason that you feel you are not alone.
Friendship is not just a shoulder you cry on, true friendship affects you positively in many ways, like:
- Friends are good for your physical health:
According to a 2010 review, Having a close circle of friends can decrease feelings of loneliness, which evidence shows can take a toll on your longevity.
Feelings of loneliness make it hard for us to do stuff, and go through depression, but with friends, this feeling is decreased to the minimum.
It doesn’t matter the number of friends you have, what matters is the quality of your friends, for a long long time I had only one friend and that didn’t matter because she was enough.
- Friends help build confidence:
We all have those moments when we doubt ourselves and feel a lack of confidence, but with friends who support us all the time, you’ll build confidence and love yourself.
- Friends help you beat stress:
You’ll have times that you’ll feel stressed and don’t know what to do for many reasons like attending an event or so, but with someone you can lay on, you can find support that will help you beat stress because we know that no matter what happens they’re here.
- Friends helps you be the best version of yourself:
There is an old Egyptian idiom that says “ EL Saheb Saheb” I am very convinced of this because we spend a lot of time with our friends and we share our lives with them. So if you choose kind, good, and successful friends who can enjoy their lives you will take a lot of their character and vise versa, of course, you have to choose your friends carefully.
Making friends can start in many ways but the cutest one is when we were kids and went to kids our age in the club, school, or the building and asked them “Can we be Friends?”
But you can meet your friends at college, at work, at any event, or through social media. When you meet them make sure to treat them properly and give them your time and listen to them when they need you and control your bad temper with them.
True friends are the most beautiful thing in the world and they’re the shoulder that we lay on when we’re sad and need support. They add a lot to our character, their presence in our lives is important and our presence in their lives is too.
